FAQs
Our standard clinic hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (Pacific). Holiday hours may vary. For employers with urgent needs (e.g., post-accident testing or exposure evaluation), limited after-hours arrangements can be made in advance. If you’re experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 immediately.
Scheduling: Book online or by phone. We recommend appointments for most services to minimize wait times.
Walk-ins: We do our best to accommodate work-related injuries and urgent occupational evaluations on a walk-in basis.
Arrival & documents: Please arrive 10 minutes early with a photo ID, any employer/insurer forms, your claim number (if applicable), and a list of medications.
Rescheduling/Cancellations: Please give 24 hours’ notice so we can offer your slot to another patient. Late changes may delay employer reporting and could be subject to your organization’s service agreement.
Authorizations: Workers’ compensation and employer-paid services may require prior authorization—check with your supervisor or HR before booking.
Emergencies: Severe chest pain, severe shortness of breath, confusion, or other life-threatening symptoms—call 911.
Non-emergent illness (e.g., cold/flu/COVID-like symptoms): If you feel unwell, stay home, wear a mask if around others, and schedule a clinic or telehealth visit for guidance and testing as appropriate.
Workplace exposures: For chemical splashes or inhalation, follow your site’s safety protocol (eyewash/shower for 15 minutes, remove contaminated clothing), then seek medical evaluation promptly. For bloodborne exposures (e.g., needlestick), immediate reporting and evaluation—ideally within 2 hours—are critical for post-exposure care.
Notify your employer if work restrictions or duty modifications may be needed.
We prioritize timely reporting while protecting privacy (HIPAA). Typical timelines:
Rapid screens (certain drug/alcohol tests): same day when available; lab confirmations 24–48 hours.
Pre-placement & DOT physicals: often 24–48 hours after completion.
Imaging and specialty labs: timing varies based on the study; we’ll communicate expected turnaround up front.
Results are shared through secure channels to the authorized employer representative designated in your paperwork.
